Elder abuse litigation

(1) Irene Parodi was allergic to cigarette smoke in the mid-80's, before it became illegal to smoke in Federal work places. Ms. Parodi was denied disability retirement. Mr. Browne took her case all the way to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which issued a landmark decision reversing the earlier denial and granting Ms. Parodi's disability retirement. (6) Mr. Browne recently obtained a successful settlement in a sexual harassment case against an employer in Federal Court in Los Angeles.
